The travelling museum pavilion is a selfcontained white box sized 15 x 4 x 6 meters. The pavilion is constructed out of limited edition colourless standard Dutch beer crates. Since the beer crates are translucent, light can fall through the load-bearing walls, creating an almost sacral space. The filtered light is perfect to exhibit objects of art. The building is extremely cost-efficient, costing only € 55,-/m3. It is also very flexible in construction and is capable of being erected in one single day by six people.
